There are some people who do not know anything. But through them also Nature teaches us lessons. For example, think of some children, their behaviour, their attitude reveals the secrets of Nature through their activities, understanding, actions etc… Even though they are children, we are learning things from them too. We may take the whole world in this sense, where we are learning from each other.

When one is keen to learn, life progresses well, and the one who neglects the teaching of nature in one's life loses the benefit. This results not only in problems, miseries and pain to himself but also affects others.

We call one man a Guru but once he was also a sishya of another Guru. When one learns something from you or when you are conveying a message to others, then, you become a Guru.

So, from time immemorial many Gurus started teaching spiritual lessons and were enlightening the humanity. Vyas Bhagvan accumulated within himself all the information of spiritual enlightenment. What he formulated and wrote, we call that now as Vedas and Upanishads.

Start thinking, you will learn

But, even before Vyas, the teachings were going on. Vethathiri Maharishi says ‘You start thinking, you can get a lot more information from anything what - so - ever’. Then you will start learning the secrets of Nature through various things, ie. trees, earth, air, sun, moon, every person, every action. Each one will give lessons as applicable and beneficial to our way of life. 

Be open to learning and receiving what Nature has to offer and what each individual we come across has to teach. As long as we are in the zone of learning we are growing.
